This is our newest LnF Dog Rescue Mom. Her family decided they did not want her anymore when they found out she was pregnant. We thankfully were able to put her in foster care & she gave birth to 11 healthy pups. The world does not need anymore pups or kittens but we are shocked that people still neglect to Spay/Neuter their animals. She also has Heartworm which is treatable but it delays her adoption since first we must allow her to wean her pups - 8 weeks. Then we can spay her & start her treatment. We have to wait for 6 weeks after her treatment until she tests negative for Heartworm — then she can go up for adoption but that is about 3 1/2 months from now. The puppies on the other hand who we feel are also purebred labs like Mom & Dad I guess. They are a rainbow of colors, yellow, chocolate & black like their Mom. For more info on what we do here at LnF please visit our website: http://www.lnfdogs.org
